On 25th March, 2012, a grand launching ceremony was held in Guangdong International Racing-circuit (Zhaoqing) for the joint establishment of a racing team by Guangzhou Transportation Technician College (hereinafter called GZTTC) and Shenzhen COSBER Industrial Co., Ltd (hereinafter called COSBER) to commemorate an important milestone in the racing field in China. It is the first racing team established jointly through school-enterprise cooperation and ever participated in Touring Car Competition. This racing team will also participate in the Endurance Racing of South China Race Track Festival which will be held in May this year in Guangdong International Circuit.

It is also known as the Track Driving experience day. After being trained with Track Safe Driving Skills on-site, nearly 50 staff from both units had experienced driving their cars in the professional racing-circuit guided by a safety car. This ceremony attracted the attention of various journalists and it was reported by several well-known media like Guangdong TV, Guangzhou TV, New Express, Information Times, High School Students Daily, Guangzhou Youth Daily, Auto News and lacar.cc, etc.

The joint establishment of racing team by GZTTC and COSBER is the main content of social practice in the course of Car Sporting and Tuning Technique in the automobile college. China's automobile industry is in a period of rapid development. The turnover of sale of automobiles has reached to a popularization level, and the automobile culture has deeply rooted in people’s mind, which led to the concepts of automobile demand, automobile sports and automobile Tuning to entirely new changes. With the continuous and vigorous growth of automobile sports and automotive tuning in China, more and more skilled personnel are required to support the development of this industry. In order to keep pace with the development and requirements of the promising industry, GZTTC, one of the outstanding model among more than 1,000 automobile colleges national-widely, had took the lead to set up the course of Car Sporting and Tuning Technique with a purpose to educate automobile technician with relevant professional skills. Meanwhile, in order to raise the college brand and reflect school character of equal importance on both humanities and skills, GZTTC expanded the school-enterprise cooperation content and established a racing team with COSBER. GZTTC also invited China Dragon Racing Team and technical experts from home and abroad as its team counselors. Through participating in real car racing and car tuning, GZTTC creates a great opportunity for students to learn and cumulate indispensable high-end technologies of Car Sporting and Tuning Technique.
